    I ordered from this Subway, Newland Avenue branch via Just Eat on 24/04/2026. The order included a falafel item, which was partially eaten that day and stored overnight. The following morning, while eating the leftovers, I found a sharp metal pin/needle inside the falafel which I nearly choked on. This was extremely concerning and could have caused a serious injury. What made the situation even more worrying is that my pregnant wife had also eaten from the same order the day before. Finding a sharp metal object in food is completely unacceptable and has left us very distressed. I have kept the metal pin, the remaining food, the packaging, and the receipt, and I have photographs of everything. I have also reported the matter to the relevant food safety team. Based on this experience, I would be very cautious about ordering from this branch again.

    Accidentally ordered from here instead of the cottingham road one, hoped this one would do good too but the garlic stick I ordered came cold and tasted more like a plain bread. Never had a jacket potato this small before. And the sub was an absolutely disaster.

    Disgusting service, rude on the phone ,terrible sandwich a piece of cheese and the sandwich was squashed . And then blamed me. And they said they don’t mind having a bad review,
