As someone who eats gluten free I visit subway a lot because of their good range of gluten free options. Every other subway I have visited the staff are always friendly and polite so it was definitely a shock to see the rudeness and lack of professionalism of staff at the Herne Bay branch. Upon entrance, we were given dirty looks by two male staff members. I ignored this, as having worked in customer service myself I know the job can be demanding. I visited with a friend and she got the cookies, we paid and asked if they could heat them up as this has never been an issue at any other branch. I said to the man if he was unable to do this it’s no problem but he reluctantly agreed although he had a lot of attitude about it, as he snatched the cookie bag from me.
He approached his colleague and went to the back room where we could hear them talking in their own language and from the sniggering and tone of voice it was clear they were talking badly about us. Furthermore, he intentionally burnt the cookies and smirked as he handed me the burnt cookies all melted together in the bag.
This is by far the most disgusting service I have received in any fast food place and have not visited again since. I often visit the Canterbury, sturry road or Minster branches which all offer 10/10 service. I would suggest to avoid this branch unless you’re okay with less than acceptable customer service.

NEVER order on the app here I orders today at 2.35 pm and told me to collect at 2.55pm i arrived he said it wasn’t ready i showed proof of payment and receipt and he claimed it didn’t show up on the system yet didn’t show me this and refused to make my order even after seeing i paid for it and i was waiting for over 20 minutes in store as well as the time between ordering and collection then although i was the first in the store he served 4 customers before me i had no food and no money and he had a horrible attitude and while i was there he also refused to serve another customer for no reason and told him to wait outside although i was in there the whole time and he did nothing wrong.

The food was brilliant as always in subway. My friend had little money but the guy at the till paid £4 for him. This left him elated and extremely grateful for the worker's generosity.
