Ordering on the screens is terrible. You can't customise your sandwich anymore, which was the half of the point of Subway.
I won't be going back until the screens are removed, if they ever are.

Very unpleasant experience at Subway today, the lady behind the counter was very rude, would not help with the self service kiosk, food quality was poor and was very unprofessional to both me and another customer, shouting at some young individuals for no reason, couldn’t believe that was my experience of somewhere that used to be a favourite

I have not used this Subway for 3 years because of it's bad reputation but today thought I'd give it another try. There were 2 staff members free behind the counter, but I was told I have to order using the kiosk, and therefore cannot ask for a bit more salad, which is what I have always done in Subway. This extra salad would have cost around 5-10 pence. Needless to say, I went elsewhere.
btw the Subway at Abbeywood Retail Park are excellent, I will just go there instead.

Really unhappy with the service! I couldn’t get the self-service kiosk to work and while I was queuing to get help or to be served, the member of staff completely ignored us. The shop was not busy at all. I was about to walk out, but my son managed to get it working on the self-service kiosk. I then overheard a lady asking why they weren’t being served, and he just said you have to use self-serve, no explanations or nothing! Zero customer service, so disappointing

Subway feels like a chain that is really losing its way right now and something needs to change fast. The customer service has taken a noticeable dip and the food just is not hitting the same anymore.
I ordered a tuna six inch and it was a let down from the first bite. The bread tasted stale, like it had been sitting around far too long, and the filling was almost non existent. It felt like I got a splash of sauce with barely any actual tuna, which defeats the whole point of ordering it in the first place.
Even the cookies, which used to be a safe bet, do not taste right anymore. They come across like they have been made elsewhere and left sitting in packaging for ages before being put out. That fresh baked feel is completely gone.
What makes it worse is this is not just one bad visit. This is the fourth different branch I have tried and every single one has been disappointing. It feels like the brand has expanded so much that consistency and quality have taken a hit. When it is this easy for anyone to run one, standards are bound to slip.
For the price you are paying, you would genuinely be better off grabbing a meal deal from Tesco. At least you know what you are getting and it usually tastes fresher.
Right now it just feels like a chain that has lost its identity and if things carry on like this, it is hard to see it holding onto customers for much longer.
