Visited the shop to get a breakfast sub in the morning, I was greeted by two staff members one of them was cheerful but went to the back, the other employee was very grumpy, i had not been subway in a while so I was taking a few minutes to decide what to get, he looked to be getting very impatient, I decided what to get, he completed skipped asking me if i want salad and went straight to the sauces as if he wanted to get this over and done with.
I had two coupons, a free cookie and a 30% off voucher, i asked if i can use both he said no, which i understand in a transaction only one is redeemable. So i chose the 30% off one and then asked if i can do the cookie one thereafter in a new purchase but he said one per day when i asked.
Just want to confirm if that is how the coupon policy works and if it is once per day, thank you

Walking in with a smile I thought I'd contribute to a better atmosphere but no.
I was asked very politely by a lady who had her hair covered (culturally) which was nice and I just asked for the daily discount/ offers.
Was told id need to have an app but there's no problem, I'd get a 30% discount which was lovely. As I asked for a plain tuna crunch sandwich I was told there's no tuna crunch just plain tuna mayonnaise which I thought was strange as tuna mayonnaise and salad is literally all you need for a tuna crunch sandwich.
As I felt this was a losing battle already I got to choose the bread which was standard but not whether I wanted cheese.. or whether I wanted it toasted.. So they toasted it for no reason anyway. The Salad and sauces didn't help- it wasn't that tasty. But when I got to the till and found out that my 6 inch cheese toasted chicken tikka sandwich cost me £4.89 with no effort from the lady who promised the discount I decided it's useless going to run down places like this where everyone is fully and completely disconnected from their customers and from reality.
So to summarise I said I didn't have the app, she said don't worry about it as a 30% discount will be applied and then I paid full for a sandwich I didn't even like.
No more custom from me.
The last time something happened too but i didn't bother with leaving a review. Today was just bizarre and actually quite sad to witness. This review will be a reminder to myself to never go there again, no matter how much I want a tuna crunch sandwich.
