If I could give this place 0 stars, I absolutely would.
Firstly, the tables were filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned, despite the shop being completely empty. Instead of doing their jobs, staff were sat comfortably in the office behind the counter.
Secondly, the customer service was genuinely shocking. Extremely rude, dismissive, and completely lacking even the most basic customer service skills or common decency.
I was hurried to place my order even though the shop was empty. I explained that I was still deciding because I have a food allergy and needed to carefully read the ingredients to avoid, you know… being ill. Despite this, the server continued to rush me.
When I eventually placed my order, at 17:50, with advertised closing time being 18:30. I was then told I couldn’t eat inside because they were “closing soon.”
Excuse me? Closing soon?
When I pointed out that the shop closes at 18:30, I was told again that they were closing and that I had 5 minutes to eat my food 😂
So let me get this straight — you’ll happily take my order and payment, but only afterwards inform me that you can’t be bothered to actually remain open until your stated closing time?
If you intend to stop dine-in service early, maybe inform customers before taking their money — not after the food is already made.
And where exactly was I supposed to eat my food? Outside? In the cold? On the floor? 😂
Absolutely diabolical customer service from this Subway branch.
After reading the previous reviews, I’m not surprised at all.
People — take the reviews seriously. Save yourself the hassle and walk up the road to a better Subway, because this one clearly has no interest in customers.
This branch seriously needs shutting down.
