I happened to visit for breakfast on opening day back in mid-May, and a few months later I’m back again, and I have to say, both experiences have been excellent.
The service has been great, the food lovely, and above all, the staff are absolutely wonderful. What really impressed me today was that my waitress even remembered me from that very first morning they opened, which was such a lovely personal touch.
It’s definitely become my go-to place for breakfast whenever I’m travelling through Edinburgh Airport. Great food, genuinely friendly service and a really welcoming team.
I’ll certainly be back again! Highly recommended.

I ordered 1 padron peppers small plate as starter wait up to 20 minutes for 5 pieces of peppers 5£ and are raw …for main what I want to order unfortunately was unavailable it’s not that hard to hit up the pan then oil drop the peppers and fry them
Young server was very polite
For one beer unfortunately up to 30 minutes I was waiting…. in restaurant at the moment are 10 tables around 18 guests 8 waiters ( I understand everyone have a break and lunch break in the same time )3 chefs in kitchen …. probably just long day
For new restaurant I guess not the best start

Arrived to find the kitchen shut as they were cleaning down from the breakfast menu to prep for lunch.
I arrived at 1030, breakfast available until 11, not today. Came back at 11 as advised by staff kitchen still shut. Manager was asked how long and simply shrugged her shoulders. The poor server must of had to turn away at least 30 customers a few had returned for a 11am reopening.
7 members of staff just standing around clearing empty tables, what a waste of money. No wonder the prices are so high.

Tried to visit Giraffe in Edinburgh airport and was told that we couldn't be seated at 10:45 because they were changing over from breakfast to lunch menu at 11:00. We asked if we could just take a seat and wait to order, but staff refused. Instead we sat in the bar/cafe bit and ordered two coffees, which took over 20 minutes to arrive. As the bar is open, you could see the staff and they were not busy - just ignoring the fact they had orders to fill and doing their own thing. Didn't end up getting food after 11:00 as by this point we were fed up and went to Pret instead.
Stopped in here bc it looked nice and was pretty low noise even when busy, which was a big plus.
Unfortunately the food and service was below an acceptable standard.
Menu board shows how long they expect food to take once ordered (12 mins today), but food arrived much later, over 20+ mins.
Eggs bene arrived with fudgey yolks, and a dry muffin that was pretty gross.
We had to chase up for our coffees after our meals were finished as they had not yet arrived.
Every table within earshot of us seemed to have similar issues as well with huge delays, people only getting their meal after everyone else at the table had finished, constant chasing and reminders about missing items, orders brought to the wrong table, and the QR codes used to order food not working.
Seems to be a relatively new place so potentially it’s just early day pains, but for a restaurant taking up such a huge footprint you’d expect them to have a better handle on things.
At the end of the day it served its purpose - we got a semi hot meal and a coffee. However, I wouldn’t be racing back here any time soon.
