  A genuinely impressive experience from the moment we walked in. I had some halal-related questions before ordering, and a staff member — whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch — went above and beyond to help. He explained that this particular branch is halal-certified, with separate grills used exclusively for halal food. He then offered a QR code linking to the official halal certification on the restaurant’s website, and made it clear he was happy to answer any further questions. Knowledgeable, patient and genuinely welcoming — exactly the kind of service that builds trust. The food itself was outstanding. The cheeseburger was packed with flavour and the Cajun fries were absolutely delicious — well-seasoned, crispy and generous in portion. Five Guys delivers on every front. For Muslim visitors to Edinburgh wondering about halal options — this branch is confirmed halal-certified. Worth knowing and worth visiting.

  Juicy burgers, double patties, £3+ for 3rd pattie! Choose as many toppings as you like. Was not busy on Sunday at 8pm, didnt wait long for order to be ready. Choose your own shake mix, up to 4 ingredients, but I played safe mixing only vanilla and salty caramel. Get the larger sized shake. Situated at a mall so lots of parking, key in car reg at counter and parking is free.
