  We came to Bar & Block yesterday for my sister's 60th and we didn't regret it. From the very start Marta gave great service, asking if we were celebrating anything special and then organised a wee surprise box of chocolates for the birthday girl and a Happy Birthday sing song at the end of the meal. She also has the patience of a saint cause my family is chaotic to say the least and she interacted with the 4yr old in our group with kindness and a smile the whole time. The food was amazing too: steaks, burgers and macaroni for the bairn followed by desserts all round, it was all delicious. And for my brother in law to say 'that was alright that' is actually high praise 🤣. Thank you for making my sister's birthday lunch so nice for her.

  Outstanding restaurant with super Outstanding service. Our server Olga the Polish girl was quite possible the sweetest friendliest and most professional server I have ever experienced anywhere, she is a credit to your company. The meal was perfect in all ways, well done

  Went for our anniversary on a Monday night so was quite quiet. Our waitress was lovely, friendly and efficient. We settled on having a sirloin steak each, though there was so much choice. Our food was cooked to order and to perfection. Our waitress was attentive but not pushy but friendly. Desserts, again a few choices we could have had. Drinks were brought to the table by another very friendly member of staff. All in all a really good restaurant that's a hidden gem, even though it's on Princes Street, definitely worth a visit.

  Drinks were good Steaks were shitee, asked for rare got well done and too chewy to eat The mixed grill was basically a kids meal or a starter for 30 quid, ridiculous Went to five guys round the corner after for the main course.

  We had a large party celebration in this location and had amazing experience. Piotr and the rest of the staff where extremely attentive, decorated our table and provided us with an amazing service. All of our guest loved their food and all planning to go back for their own visit. We could not thank the staff of this restaurant enough for helping us celebrate our day.
