  Such a lovely place to go for a drink. It's beautiful sat overlooking the lake on a summers day. Lovely atmosphere in the pub, staff are great and always so friendly. We come here often.

  We come here for the quiz! Its absolutely lovely food and the service is amazing, friendly staff and always welcoming. Definitely recommend this pub. We always try different food each time and its all been lovely but this is definitely one of our faves tonight hunters chicken!

  Both had the pies which very tasty. Lovely pub with a great atmosphere just the type of place to go for a meal. It was a Monday too.

  I found the blue bell to be a very nice place to have a lovely meal, the food is amazing and the staff are really friendly, Alison was lovely and so welcoming and it’s very reasonably priced, we’ll definitely be returning

  We visited a week ago for lunch and was quite disappointed! We haven’t been for roughly a year or so and used to be a regular. I’m not sure what has happened to the food there’s quite a bit of shrinkage with food, bread was dry, we didn’t enjoy it at all. No we didn’t bring it up on the day as we are believers that it should be done right first time we just wanted a pleasant day without having to argue over a few dry sandwiches. Obviously the pub itself is beautiful, it’s just a shame the staff were to busy doing other things, around 20 people inside all with food and drinks already no one else stood waiting and I stood at the bar for 10 minutes until someone finally stopped doing what they were doing. Overall poor experience and unlikely to return here again after deteriorating food portions, we left starving and actually went to McDonald’s after!
