  I don't live in the area, but have made this my local. The staff are amazing, so friendly, helpful and polite, they go above and beyond. The landlord and landlady are really accommodating. We have had a few functions here and attended so many more. The food is cooked fresh, and is delicious, whether it's pizza or a steak the same love and attention goes into the cooking and presentation. Love this place ❤️

  Me and my husband wanted to try some where different for food, so we popped into The mallard, what a lovely place very welcoming, lovely food, landlord lovely people really friendly.

You can taste the love and dedication in every single dish, and the warmth from the bar and service team is truly special. They pour so much strength, care, and passion into everything they do to make sure every guest has a perfect experience. This team is honestly the best in the world; their hard work and kindness make you feel like family the moment you walk through the door. I cannot recommend this place enough—come for the food, but stay for the incredible atmosphere." The true magic of this place comes from the incredible team, and especially from Michelle, Pauline, and the owner. They are truly the greatest—amazing chefs who make this place magic and exceptional in every way. The entire crew is so hard-working, and I have so much love for you all. You are the best in the world

  I held my husband's 50th birthday at The Mallard and an amazing night was had by all. The buffet was freshly made in house on the day and requests for my hubby fave foods were included without hesitation, great atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble for the bar staff, I could not have put his night together without the help of Gordon, Elaine and the the team, thank you so much to you all! ❤️
