He is to helpful and polite, thinks ahead, cup holder without asking and a lovely engaging smile even when there is a queue out the door. I might add that the rest of the staff are always very helpful as well. I take a cappuccino to my 98 year old Mum who is in local residential care every week, she so looks forward to it. Staff at the Arnison are also very polite. Well done to Greggs putting customer service at the forefront and employing staff like Charlie who is an absolute asset to Greggs.

What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
