Once upon a time, The Swan was destined to cease trading and plans were in place for the building to be replaced by a supermarket. After heavy petitioning from the community, the pub was kept alive with the support of Halesowen Council and purchased by Black Country Ales. With 16 hand pulls including 5 ciders, The Swan has been returned to its rightful place within the Halesowen community. The interior contains two coal fires, and outside is a spacious beer garden and a heated smoking shelter with live sports.
