Picked 3-4pm collection time, last time available as Sunday trading hours. Didn't recieve an email to say it was ready to pick up. Arrived at the store at 3.30pm to be told they had forgotten to pick it! So I then spend the next 30 mins waiting for while a member of staff went round doing my shop (which I might as well have now done myself) 1 item now not available (probably because it was being picked 10 mins before the store shut) really disappointed and expected better from the CoOp. Not a great start to our holiday. Got my order and email confirmarion at 3:59 literally as the store was shutting.
- LALeslie ArdernJun 28, 20261.0This co-op shop in Swanage It is very expensive I would also like to point out that the people that are getting hardest hit are pensioners as they can only afford to buy and small quantities it's them small quantities that the pensioners are paying the earth for. The co-op says that some of the money that they make in profit goes towards local charities etc. My point is some of these charities are providing food for the very people that cannot afford the co-op prices. If the co-op was to lower their prices like some other supermarkets then they would be no need for food banks etc. So to cut a long story short they're taken with one big hand and given a tiny amount back to the people of Swanage. Hope your example of this is 30 p for one banana that equals about £1.85 a kilo or more. We urgently need a lidl's in Swanage. Maybe lidl's could be sighted in the old Swanage council yard.
