Amazing carvery today, very tasty. Staff were very friendly and so helpful, big shoutout to Vicki who went above and beyond to make our experience a great one for our anniversary! There were 12 of us and all our meals were fab. We didn’t book as they were fully booked inside but we were able to eat outside. We had one in our party that is gluten free and they did her a gluten free Yorkshire pud

Really enjoyed my visit here. They were hosting the Country Festival and at first were short staffed but the lad handled it well.
I just had mushrooms on sourdough with a portion of chips but I’ve paid a lot more for meals that weren’t as good as this simple dish. Really tasty and if I’m in the area I’ll come back for it again. I’d have licked the plate if there was nobody around.
Nice atmosphere, comfortable seating and available sockets for laptop or phone charging.

I visited this establishment Monday 3rd, I was nothing short of impressed. There was a lovely batman assisting me with my autism, he (I assume "he") took perfect care, time and consideration with my requests. I have a tendency to become nervous and unsettled in busy places, but "he" showed valued patience whilst helping me. I was wearing my sunflower lanyard to indicate that I have a hidden disability, and that I may require additional assistance, "he" took this extremely seriously.
He is also handsome, non-chalant, 6'4" and cool.

I visited last Sunday for a carvery and unfortunately the food was cold. I raised this with the waitress who was polite and apologetic and warmed it in the microwave.
Upon paying the bill I advised a different member of staff who was serving me that I meal was cold and was abruptly told that she couldn’t do anything other than not charge me for the glass of coke I’d ordered with my meal, no apology offered. Food was disappointing, especially for the price, (£19.50), however, the experience could have been improved had the customer service been better. I left feeling that customers are not valued and so wouldn’t recommend.

We have just attended our daughter’s wedding at the venue. We were all very disappointed, after they were told the garden area would be re vamped we found nothing had been done. Dog poo on the grass, brambles and uneven walking area. The rotten step coming from the marquee broke when a guest walked down it, nearly causing a fall. The decking had seen better days and ripped the brides very expensive dress as she walk down the aisle. There were two old arches that we could use one was rusty and the other was horrible. There were no flowers in area only what we took. Staff helped them delve to sweets, the wedding cake was left in the marquee causing it to dry out and be in edible. Pretty awful all round.
