A good selection of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes to choose from. Food was well presented and generally good. Staff were busy, but attentive and Toby was proactive in clearing plates, getting fresh drinks etc. Nice touches like table decorations for a birthday were great.
A good venue for relaxed dining.

Food was delicous; staff (Kathy and Amy) were friendly and helpful; very cosy and warm atmosphere. We had the seafood pasta, steak pie, mushroom pie, a selection of sides and a few deserts. Everything we had was very tasty, especially the mushroom pie and the roast tenderstem brocolli.

Attended the restaurant following good reviews on line , my wife’s meal was perfect however I had the sirloin steak or should I say mistake it was very crisply and probably the worst sirloin I have had in my life , you usually get someone come and you how is your meals but no contact following food delivery to the table .
We decided to finish our meals pay and leave the restaurant and the many dogs roaming around the tables

Kathy was an excellent host. Great sense of humour and quick to take orders/get the bill.
Food was brilliant, has to be one of the best carvary’s in Dorset. Coca Cola was very watered down with ice. Less ice please!
Only other thing I would say is it’s not clear what you’re booking for online. Sundays is apparently carvary only but didn’t find this clear on the website, I had to ring to check the slot I had booked was for carvery and not any other menu. This could be made clearer.
