I've brought from Greg's across the country, from Edinburgh to as far South as Bournemouth to Essex. And always been greeted the same way.
- ASAli SAug 18, 20262.0Just a warning to others who are dairy intolerant/ allergic etc. I asked for an oat latte this morning, said it 3 times, was handed the coffee after paying, took a swig and confirmed if it was oat. The gentleman behind the counter said they only do milk/ dairy and do not sell of have alternative options to dairy. So ended up binning the coffee as I couldn't drink it. Sadly my intolerance isn't though choice, so an expensive mistake. Go to Starbucks instead if you have a dairy intolerance over the road.
- JDJayne DuffyAug 16, 20262.0Most times I have visited at peak times there is little or no choice asked the guy behind the counter to make a simple ham and cheese baguette a few weeks ago not a chance most of pastry is always cold.try baking little and often would help also I was waiting in the queue today and the male server could really use retraining in customer service he looked straight at me and called the customer behind to be served I do believe he could use a session in customer service he never greets customers as they should be by a Greggs employee so disappointed in this Greggs always had good service from other outlets so why is this one so poor

What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
