  Had a very pleasant experience with the very stylish Hannah. She had us seated and served promptly and the food arrived very fast. We got the shitaki katsu udon and pulled shitaki donburi and they were both 10/10. The mushroom was such a good meat substitute and had such a good texture but there were plenty of other vegan/veggie options for non mushroom lovers. We had a lovely server but you can order and pay using your phone if you don't wish to talk to people.

  Second order from Wagamama Dundee, and unfortunately just as poor as the first. We initially put the first experience down to teething problems, since the first time they hadn’t long opened, but clearly that wasn’t the case. We ordered the Yaki Udon and Salmon Teriyaki Soba, switching for udon noodles. Delivery was quick, but that was about the only positive. Both dishes were completely flavourless with no sauce/ seasoning. The noodles were pale, mushy /overcooked but with the no sign they’d seen a wok- assume overboiled? The Yaki Udon had around three tiny scraps of chicken, while the few prawns included were broken tiny pieces that were shrivelled and rubbery. The salmon was dry, overcooked and completely unseasoned,- disappointing as we ordered an extra salmon.There were only 3–4 pieces of soggy, tasteless limp pak choi, while the mange tout and chilli were missing. Again, no sauce or flavour. We’ve enjoyed Wagamama in Glasgow and Edinburgh, so it’s particularly disappointing that Dundee has been so poor. We’d been looking forward to it coming to Dundee, but after two bad experiences, we won’t be ordering again. Overpriced, poor quality and hugely disappointing. Genuinely would not recommend!
