  This place seems have gone to the dogs over the past month or so - rumours of the chef / manager walking out and his replacement either non-existent or not up to the job. Came here a couple of weeks ago for a late lunch - took almost an hour for our food to come, no apology or pre-warning from the staff and it wasn’t even busy. A couple of days ago went for coffee - took 20 mins for a bit of fruit toast to arrive allegedly because the chef is in training - I’d hope they had learned to at least use a toaster at home. Yesterday came here before shopping, stale manky croissant, mixed all the drinks up and again service with a sneer. Sort it out Tesco for goodness sakes - cafe was markedly less busy than usual on a Saturday morning so they must be losing business.

  My first and last time to use this cafe. The touch screen ordering i found was definitely not a tap job! When I did get into it, + 80% of items were 'out of stock' this was just after 1pm. Made an order of something that was available and to cut a long story short, was unable to get to the payment stage. I did have a pager number! This all took plus 15mins, I gave up. Bought a sandwich from the store..all sandwiches were 'out of stock' in the cafe, and sat outside on the bench to eat!! In hindsight...I should have taken it into the cafe to eat 😂

  Hadn’t visited cafe for months What a transformation re self ordering Lovely Berry French toast for breakfast … one of the nicest brekys had in any top level restaurant Lovely friendly staff too Definitely recommend We will be back ! Thank you

  Why have they put price of coffee up. Roughbrough cafe still the same two coffees there £6.05 Lee mill £6.25 only happened past couple of days.

  New layout with machines to take order. Only sandwiches available to take away. Nothing vegetarian. Staff quite rude when asked about how the new system worked. Told without apology that food orders would take 45mins. Another reason not to stop or shop at Tesco.
