  I’ve only eaten here once, but my son is a regular and it’s brilliant. Small, local, well loved family pub serving very generous sized food portions. First time we can we ordered loaded chips each and despite being a big eater I couldn’t even finish half of it so I was really embarrassed when we both left half but it was absolutely amazing and chef does a great job. I hope Sandra enjoys her retirement, a new pub chain called punch is taking over so I’ll reserve judgement for future and leave a new review when applicable. Definitely recommend recommended though

  Great place. Really quirky mix of memorabilia plastered all over the place. Food was great. Lovely vibe! Reasonable prices too. Definitely worth a visit!

  Amazing food on a sunday roast. Meats well prepared, not dry, vegetables well seasoned. Congratulations to the chef, smiling and good communication. Some of the waitress ladies were very difficult to ask for anything, so service can improve a bit.

  We visit as a group once in a while and the food is fantastic and the atmosphere is great made so by the collection of items displayedabout the place from times gone by. Staff are attentive, young and friendly. There's a public carpark which is free after 6pm I believe to the left of the pub and there is some on street parking around the square
