The Curator Caffè opened in 2012 on the day the Olympic torch passed through Totnes, with an aim to bring quality Italian products that everyone could enjoy in a special environment. Speciality coffee has always been at the centre of The Curator and we have always remained loyal to the classic Italian tradition of wood roasted coffee. Initially we imported wood roasted coffee directly from Italy but as we developed we wanted to complete the coffee cycle by sourcing and roasting the beans ourselves, which we now do in at our roastery on Totnes Industrial Estate.
Customers generally enjoyed the food, noting it was fresh and tasty, although there were some complaints about specific items being cold or not prepared correctly.
