Arrived with only 5mins left on lunch service. The server was really good and let us order. The food came quickly and was excellent. Very pleased with the food, the beer and the welcoming efficient service.

Nipped in for fish and chips- service was very good, all the lads serving were lovely. Food was honestly delicious (and I’m very fussy when it comes to fish and chips). Would definitely recommend

This delightful restaurant was just round the corner from our holiday flat, and couldn't have been better. We had the (very generous) small plates - crisp fried calamari with a delicious dip, a shedload of very good smoked salmon, etc. A lovely relaxed atmosphere, and staff hit that perfect combination of friendly and professional (and reasonable prices are also a plus!). Would certainly revisit when next in Sidmouth.

A lovely spot on Sidmouth’s seafront, with a relaxed atmosphere, fine sea views and precisely the sort of setting that makes a pint taste better. We enjoyed two tasty Brooklyn sessions IPAs and a couple of rather banging packets of crisps, all consumed in the sunshine with the promenade doing its entertaining best. The only dampener was the bill: £17.80, no less, which feels a little ambitious for such modest refreshment in East Devon. Still, a charming place to pause and watch the world go by—provided you bring a healthy wallet (still working on that ... slowly). Likely won't go again given the steep prices. But a gorgeous spot and very chilled out...

One of the worst examples of customer service I have encountered. A seafood chowder was served extremely dry, with virtually no sauce and nothing like the consistency reasonably expected from the dish. When the issue was raised and a replacement requested, the response from a member of staff was shockingly rude and confrontational. Rather than dealing professionally with a straightforward complaint, the staff member made deeply personal and insulting remarks about the customer’s character and even directed inappropriate comments towards their dining companion. The customer was left in tears. A restaurant can make a mistake with a dish, but personally attacking a customer for politely raising a concern is inexcusable. An extremely upsetting experience. Based on this treatment, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
