walked in at 2, 15 this afternoon despite signs saying food available all day was told by female with white chefs jacket that kitchen was closed, so we left to find somewhere that was prepared to serve us something to eat,

Had to wait a little while to place our food order but staff were very apologetic. Food was good and the surroundings feel cosy even though it's a large pub/restaurant

Excellent place, 8 mins drive from Sidmouth waterfront and well located for Beer and River Otter and many other locations. Sam was an excellent host, with good chats around the Del ious breakfast. Well decorated and clean and a good place to be.

I had a birthday dinner here. Sam hosted 24 of us that I had pre booked. Then on the night two extras came and adding them was no problem. The team worked hard for us and nothing was too much. Everyone got what the ordered main and pudding and hot drinks to follow. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was all lovely and warm too. Thank you to Sam and his team. I even got a little birthday gift thank you I only live a stone throw away so we all Walked, so everyone could have a drink was ideal

Great little pub with friendly staff. We had a family meal in their private dining and they handled our large order well. Spaced out the starters and mains and we're very accommodating of my father who was using crutches. I highly recommend the Blue Ball.
