  Terrible shop, mouldy produce, for some reason about 1/4 of the shop is dedicated to actual food and the rest is dedicated to ultra processed slop junk food. Very poor range and usually lacking in supplies if you want to actually cook something. Any vegetables I’ve bought are terrible quality e.g. liquified avocados and “irresistible” revolting mushy raspberries which cost about £8 combined. Whole shop terrible and extortionately expensive. Checkout tills always busy and covered in grease so stuff scans poorly. Go to kingsbridge instead.Co-op is Waitrose price for worse than Lidl quality and experience AVOID!!

  Genuinely one of the worst grocery shops I've been to... When it's open that is... First of all, as the only relatively big grocery shop nearby, in a town known for being a popular stopover for sailors, it is criminal to not update the opening times. On Google it is stated the shop closes at 11pm. It was a wonderful surprise to find after a 20min trip with the dinghy up the river, at 22:03, that the shop was closed. Upon asking what was up with the wrong times stated on Google, it turned out staff was aware but had done nothing about it. Unfortunately, actually shopping there is just as disappointing - no fresh produce, stock runing out around midday, and an overall very chaotic experience. Would definitely not recommend

  The young assistant decided to serve another customer. I told her to wait until I'd finished packing my carrier bag before placing the following customer's items next to mine. I guess that's what happens when some people do not appreciate the Eenglish way of patience and queuing.
