The location is lovely as is the restaurant layout out, but the food is very, very average for the price range. I would recommend Tea & Bun if you want delicate, beautifully cooked ramen (and it is far less expensive) or Yakisan if you want to go high end. The rest of my party ate and finished their food before mine even arrived. They didn't charge me for it which was good of them, but still kind of ruined the occasion to scoff down my meal when everyone was sat waiting on me. The "Gen Z attitude" from the servers is what really killed it for me. The blank expressions, the shoulder shrugging, that moody teenage attitude of not really giving a toss. That's ok if your just stopping in for a snack, but when you are out dropping £150 on a special occasion it definitely kills the mood.

Ordered on online. The wrong order was delivered but Deliveroo wouldn't help. The manager on call couldn't have been more helpful though. She helped us arrange redelivery and added some extras for our trouble. Excellent service.

Server Amy left us waiting a long time, wasn't sure of her own menu, which didn't instill a lot of confidence from the start, some of the food we ordered was left on hot plate for almost 15 minutes so when it eventually arrived with us it was cold and dry

This has happened in several Wagamamas we’ve been to and it’s not right, ordering our food for a me, wife, child and I never got my food, complained to the manager who just said sorry and offered a free desert!? Not even had a main why would I want desert. This has happened in Exeter aswell and saw other customers have the same problem! Sort it out! Shocking
