Ok, the pubs dated and not the cleanest but we had one of the best caverys ever! The meat and veg were cooked to perfection and so tasty, so well done to the chef. The man serving was welcoming and funny. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating too 😄

I had to do a review as there appears to be some bad ones on here. We have been twice since being on holiday in Goodrington. Both times the food has been lovely, served promptly and hot. The service has been good and using the Brewers Fayre 2 for 1 weekend offer has meant a main and drinks for 4 has cost less than 45 quid - a bargain these days. We have gone 6 - 7 o'clock and it has been quiet which suits us.
Yes, the place is looking run down but they're not going to decorate if they're being got rid of. Ladies loos by the hotel reception door were clean.

The food is ok. It's not amazing but not terrible either. The staff are friendly enough however, the outside area is messy, dirty and a real let down considering it's location next to the beach. Maintaing tables, putting a lick of paint about the place and adding parasoles to help shield from the bird mess and seagulls would really help.
The biggest problem eith this place though was the AI booking voice. I tried to book 2 tables and it completely messed it up. They shouldnt use AI in the first place but when it's as bad as this was then it definitely has put us off going there again. There are nicer pubs along the coastline around paignton and brixham so i'll definitely avoid this place until it tidies itself up and drops the AI.

We visited brewers fair and I can safely say I will never return, we ordered drinks, and one of them tasted awful so returned and got a replacement that was no different, we then ordered our food, when it arrived one meal was fine but the other could have done with a lot more heat, we sent this meal back, and waited for it to be returned, after about 20 minutes I approached a member of staff asking where my food was, as the person I was with had already eaten her meal, to be told it had been forgotten and the food was bought back to my table, it had been microwaved and left in the kitchen so yet again it was cold, we asked to speak to a manager and we requested a refund, which we eventually got, but now have to wait 2-3 days for it to reach my account, with it being a weekend that’s going to be more like a week.
The place is a joke, it’s run by kids that look like they are just out of nappies, and appear to not have a clue what they are doing, I my honest advice would be to avoid at all costs
