  I ordered scrambled egg on sourdough toast with additional black pudding and a small mocha. It arrived with two large slices of toast and a very small amount of scrambled egg spread out to look like there was more, the black pudding was missing however it was brought over quickly when I mentioned it to the server. Taste and temprature was fine. The mocha was overpoweringly chocolately and nearly undrinkable. My wife ordered a regular breakfast with mushrooms. It arrived with the mushroons missing. When the server Lisa was told they were missing her response was "well I can only carry so much at once", why they were not just on the plate boggles the mind. Overall it was an ok breakfast however the hash browns were soggy and unedible and the fried egg was a mess. I would recommend always checking what you get is what you ordered.

  Visited the Exeter services on way to Cornwall for breakfast. Waited 20 minutes for our coffee and breakfast followed ten minutes later. Manager needs to use more staff in cafeteria. The two that manned the cafe were rushed off their feet poor souls and did their best. Suggest manager wakes up and smells the coffee.

  The staff are always so kind and helpful, the atmosphere is calm and well-kept, the food is always lovely in my experience (I’ve tried lots of their menu options) and I love the recent makeover and how easy it is to order at the self service machines. Coffee is great and they do not charge extra for substituting oat milk which I appreciate! My favourite place to come for breakfast when I need to do the weekly grocery shopping

  Just awful! 40 minute wait for two breakfasts! And it wasn't even busy. Our coffee was finished well before the food arrived, and when it did turn up the bacon was rock hard, pork sausage was so cheap it had no taste. The hash browns were like sponges full of grease. Won't be going back

  Chef rude, asked her a question of what's in the panini, she told me to ask cashier , waited 10mins in cue to be told there is no festive panini! Why advertise??? Had to eat separately as my food came 10mins after my partners ,while I was waiting I counted ten full dirty tables,and watched customers clean up, and complain,so it's not just me
