Post office now closes for change over during the day apparently, I needed to deposit money and told I would have to wait 15 minutes until the change over, I've never known that in over 5 years of shopping in there, is this just another rule change by Bev , or a new system at spar, a few months ago I was told I couldn't send a parcel because it was over 50cm, my parcel was 53cm, I asked to check the parcel limits in the shop book, it turned out 120cm was the max, I received no apology, just scowls, another member of staff had to book it in for me, my parcel was well wrapped and was a antique coal bucket, 1930s, the buy received it in bits, lucky enough he restored it and didn't ask for a refund, was this coincidence or do out of spite, I will never know, what I do know is Bev has a bad attitude and should of apologised for her error on parcel length limits, instead a very strong robust coal bucket had been bashed around, it was 100 years old and no damage, very robust, lucky I'm not a bitter revengeful person , I'm reluctant to send anything again via spar, very suspicious as I know the damage would of needed intended force.
P.S. your reply says you look forward to welcoming me back, though you don't mention if the post office closes now for change over, I've never known this, it's seems that when a customer is in the right, they receive no apology and are then punished for being correct, meny times in my 5 years of attending the spar, you occasionally see items on offer, many a times I go to the till and the item on offer, is still full price once rung up on the till, and again your made to feel as you've done something wrong, this has happened many times and usually made to feel awkward and a inconvenience in a convenience store 😆. I imagine I'm now barred, or will receive more hostility for honesty and being correct on parcel measuments, try not to talk about that one again, it reminds me of how many nasty people there are out there. Spar is a expensive place to shop, but a smile, politeness and a good service is totally Free. Some smile while sticking a knife in your back, mentioning no names, but I bet she can kick herself in the h3ad lol 😆, I will be back soon, I will smile and be polite as always, and watch out when paying at the till. Its not good to shop with a nasty atmosphere. Be happy 😊
