  We have just had a lovely breakfast cooked very well. The young lady who took payment and the young lady who served us were both lovely.

  Really lovely food. Staff were brilliant. We had breakfast as we were staying at the premier inn next door and also had an evening meal. Lovely place.

  Typical chain pub attached to a lodge... food okay but not great. The poor staff were run ragged, had a 45 minute wait for food. Expensive for what you get, only went because of a discount voucher. Drinks expensive especially soft drinks as there is no "refillable" option. Poor choice of draught drinks, even the cider had "run out"... The "7oz" gammon was grisly and watery, had to waste ⅓ of it and it definitely wasn't the right size in the first place (I'm guessing some of it was cut off for a mixed grill...) Pub looking tired and worn. Staff members were polite and working hard.

  Stood waiting for a table for 10 minutes with staff walking passed us. In the end I went and asked the staff if they had any tables to which she said I’ll go and ask. Onstage came and said I’m sorry but we are busy and not taking walk ins. I found this to be rude as they could have asked us to sit while they checked or just said no they were busy not to keep walking passed us.
