- EPElla PaigeJul 21, 20261.0I'd originally left a positive 5 star review highlighting how this was the best McDonald's I've visited, however a poor experience today has completely ruined that for me and I will not be returning. I'd both asked AND confirmed with the guy at the drive thru (who sounded like he really didn't want to be there) that I wanted a medium Diet Coke, however I instead recieved a full fat Coke which tasted absolutely vile and left a highly unpleasant bitter taste in my mouth after only 3 sips and ended up having to be thrown away as we'd already left and were back on the busy road. I'm not sure if this is the fault of the guy at the drive thru or the girl who served us the drinks as I regretfully didn't take the receipt (I obviously didn't expect this to happen) but still is it really that hard to ensure that the drink is diet rather than regular? I've never had this problem before at both this McDonald's and other branches so I'm incredibly disappointed, especially as I physically can't have full fat Coke as it gives me horrid nausea and stomach issues which I'm now currently dealing with. So I've ended up wasting £1.79 on a disgusting tasting drink that wasn't what I asked for and I doubt I'll be able to get my money back, the incompetent staff clearly need more training in both customer and food service.
