The food is lovely, with something for everyone, and the beer garden is a lovely place to relax, especially on a sunny day. It’s also a great spot to catch a bit of live sports, making it perfect whether you’re visiting with the family or meeting friends for a drink. Great food, great service, and a brilliant atmosphere – highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

The quality of the ingredients and the care that goes into the cooking really stands out. What made the visit even better was the incredible staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive throughout our meal. They made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy great food and great company. I honestly can’t recommend The Mallard Pub highly enough and will definitely be returning soon. Five stars all the way!
- MMMichelle MarshJul 5, 20261.0Absolutely disgusting the meat was so dry even when I drowned it in gravy it was still too hard to eat Veg all sloppy and wet and the stuffing,roast potatoes and parsnips all deep fat fried I asked for fresh meat but was told the dry meat on the carvery was "fine" Over an hour wait due to a chip pan fire which would have been ok had the food been edible, I definitely do not recommend this pub The service was very slow and unorganised The menus are all sticky and need a good clean
