- DHDee HamptonFeb 18, 20262.0This branch of Tesco has served the community poorly in recent years. There are often empty shelves and common items are out of stock. It feels like it is being run down prior to closing. Most of the staff are friendly, helpful and hard-working. They frequently have to field complaints about the absence of basic items. This branch of Tesco's is the only supermarket in the town centre. Older people and less well-off locals who don't have a car or access to the internet rely on it for their main shop. Their diet is dictated by what happens to be available.

As the florist 'Thanks A Bunch' is now unfortunately closed, I purchase lilies from this Tesco store and they are truly superb.

Tesco do not appear to do anything about this. So I give 4 stars instead of 5 stars. This issue is something they need to sort out urgently as they are allowing people to break the law in their store, and protensurly spread covid-19.
