  Stood waiting 20 minutes for someone to take a security tag off a bottle. In the end, I walked out and alerted attention to the security guard who promptly chased me, checked my receipt and removed the tag. Get some staff tesco.

  Received a parking ticket today from 3 years ago .Don't even have that vehicle now. £125 fine this was the Alfreton store.If I don't pay court action. Checked my banking history, was shopping in the store had food after ,got chatting to friends whilst using the cafe ran over the time limit . Will never use Tesco again and I am plotting my revenge ! 😜

  Just called at Tesco in Alfreton for a few bits , went to get some bananas, just as I was reaching for some a male member of staff was filling up the shelf and wanted to put the large box down just as I reached for the bananas so I apologised and stepped back, he then slammed the box down on the bananas and looked at me like I was a piece of dirt and never said a word. So unbelievably rude, there’s just no excuse for it, think he needs a lecture on manners, makes me want to shop elsewhere

  This is a great place to shop, but it is always busy unless you go early or late. It offers a wide range of items other than groceries. The store has a good clothing section along with other bits like electrical goods, car accessories, kitchen gadgets, mobile phone shop etc.The cafe offers a wide range of food which is reasonable, but I have to say my favourite section is the baked goods the muffins, bread, cookies, and cakes are exceptionally good. If you have an electric or hybrid vehicle there are also charging stations. Please be aware that the car wash is still closed. The staff are always pleasant and helpful.
