  Went tonight for an early evening tea and was really dissatisfied. I had the chicken burger and have never seen such a small pitiful burger. The chip’s weren’t cooked properly either. But the worst part was the dreadful server, he was rude and ignorant. When asked if we would like any sauces I asked for a garlic mayo and was told I’d have to pay for it, that’s fine, he brought the dip with a card machine and asked for £1. I said we would pay for it with our pudding. When my husband paid for the pudding he said we owed a pound and the lady who served him said it was fine, it didn’t matter. No sooner had he sat back down and the server turned back up to say we hadn’t paid the pound and we needed to pay for the dip! You could ignore the rubbish service if the food was good but I can safely say we won’t be returning as very overpriced for the quality.

  Had lunch here today and honestly left with a huge smile on our faces. It’s fantastic to see a local pub back open and serving such great food with genuinely warm service. I visited with my two sons, and the staff were brilliant with them throughout. Friendly, welcoming, and always taking the time to chat and make us feel comfortable. The atmosphere feels warm and positive, and you can tell there’s real care going into both the food and the experience. So happy to have this place back in the community, and we’ll definitely be returning again soon!

  Stopped by at the oak tree and was really impressed. The place has such a cosy atmosphere, warm lighting, comfortable seating, and a really relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay for a few drinks. I had an Amstel and a burger, and both were spot on. The burger was fresh, juicy, and full of flavour, and the pint was perfectly poured. Great addition to the area and definitely somewhere I’ll be coming back to.

  The renovation they have done to the place is amazing, looks beautiful inside and out. They have incorporated the old pictures of Teeside airport and its history which is a really nice touch. It’s a cosy friendly vibe, a nice place to meet friends. I had the double beef burger to share with my boyfriend as we weren’t starving, was a perfect portion size and very very tasty. Staff are very friendly and helpful which makes the experience all the better. Definitely recommend and we will 100% be going back as they are doing a new menu.

  Been in for meal today lovely place but the food was not good presentation was very bad on the plates for the price they charge you expect good food. So unfortumatley wont be revisting.
