  Had a fantastic evening at Twig! The lasagne was absolutely delicious and one of the best pub meals I’ve had in a while. There was live music on Wednesday evening, which made for a really relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The drinks were great, and the staff were absolutely lovely friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. It was also great to see couples in enjoying the pub with their dogs, which added to the really friendly, welcoming feel of the place. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back! 🍻🎶🐶

  Good service, nice food although very small portion sizes, heres a tip, do not blatantly ask for tips when presenting the bill.

  Gluten free parmo, the best i have had in a long time. All the ingredients were fresh. As a ceoliac i am always very cautious when ordering out, Morgan personally came over and ensured me of the safe practices they have for gluten free food. Amazing food and absolutely no adverse reaction so no cross contamination either. Will definitely be eating here again!

  We thought we would give The Oak Tree a try as we had heard good reports and we were not disappointed. The bar staff were friendly with a good selection of drinks and well kept Guiness. We both had the steak which was cooked exactly as we had requested with a peppercorn sauce to die for. There are not many pubs who deliver a steak as you order it, but we are glad to say, this is one that does It also came with crispy skin on fries and tomato and mushrooms. I had ordered the salad extra, and this had a very tasty dressing. Great value for money and will definitely be back to try Sunday lunch

  We’ve just popped down to meet Morgan, the new landlord, who has brought the parmo back to the menu on Saturday evenings — and I have to say, both me and hubby were really impressed! 😊 The portions are huge and absolutely packed onto the plate. There are three parmo options to choose from, and we went for the Hot Shot. It was really tasty, with just the right amount of heat — definitely not overpowering. I honestly can’t fault the service we received or the quality of the meal. Everything was lovely and we left feeling very well fed! 😂 The only thing I’d personally change, and this is purely down to my own preference, would be the chips. I’m a proper chunky, homemade chip kind of girl, so I think they’d make an already great meal even better. 🫣😂 We didn’t have dessert because, quite honestly, there was no way we could have fitted one in! 🤣 But we did overhear the table next to us talking about how lovely the sticky toffee pudding was on their last visit — and out of the eight people at their table, five of them ordered it! So I’m guessing it must be pretty good! 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 Overall, a really lovely meal, great service and a warm welcome from Morgan. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️
