  I visited the Oak Tree tonight and would highly recommend. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Lily was very friendly,polite and attentive. I’m looking forward to my next visit .

  Called in to meet friends. Sat in the very lovely beer garden. Very prompt service from the friendly girls at the bar. Food was lovely, we ordered a selection of bar snacks which came all together despite there being quite a few of us. All round a very pleasant experience.

  Very nicely refurbished modern pub/restaurant. Not that busy when we arrived on a Sunday lunchtime. Service fairly quick, waitress friendly and pleasant. Dog friendly in the bar area but not restaurant part. However, food was just mediocre. I ordered chicken Sunday lunch but value for money in portion size at £19+ was most disappointing in comparison to other establishments we have visited. A very, very small chicken breast, Yorkie Pud, tablespoon of peas and cabbage, literally 4 small slices of carrot and a few boiled baby potatoes just isn't good value for money in my experience! Hubby had the pie which he enjoyed though again.. small, chips looked frozen not even hand made. At those prices portion sizes need to improve to keep up with the competition!

  Came with a group of friends this week for a meal. I had read a not very good review on a different platform earlier in the day so was a bit worried how the evening would go. Turned out the food was delicious and certainly my portion size was very generous. The waiting staff were very accommodating and pleasant. The only very small issue was one of my friends mentioned the price of the halloumi fries saying they were a bit pricey. The pub has been decorated really nicely and it has a lovely garden to the rear which was a very nice place to sit with drinks before we went inside to eat. I will definitely go again. It's also a very nice pub just to sit and have a drink.
