  I only go to the Abergele Tesco maybe once a month and that's only to see what Hot Wheels are in stock. Get lucky sometimes.

  Used to be our go to shop but sadly not any more, wife now travels 7 miles more to use Sainsbury’s and I only go if desperate, the reason you ask, less staff and poor choice compared to others and the biggest is less staff on checkouts as they’ve moved to more self checkout conveyor tills, these arn’t even set up correctly and keep prompting you to get help or load your bags. What they have to realise is once the holiday makers go home the population of Abergele and surrounding area who use the store are of the older generation who may not be as tech savvy or willing to change, it’s a busy store or at least used to be so staff up and show the customers some respect or more will vote with their feet.

  You need more staff on the tills I've seen your profits there're no excuse for it..massive ques today and not enough staff !! Absolute joke when you have staff members standing around doing nothing.

  Very disappointed with my experience at Abergele this evening. All the manned tills were closed, leaving a very large queue at the self check out. And that too was understaffed with long waits for a staff sign in for the inevitable problems and authorisation of alcohol sales. I threatened to leave my trolley of groceries at the checkout and wish I had. Whilst you may price match Aldi you dont match on staffing where staff are called to open more tills if the queues are getting too long.
