Country Pub, Restaurant and Small Hotel
We are the only pub and restaurant in the Carlisle area that serves steak on a stone. Customers cook their own steak at their table on a hot volcanic stone. We have a large beer garden and play area for children. Dogs are welcome both inside and outside. Food is home cooked using fresh, local, seasonal produce and our Sunday lunch was voted one of the 5 best sunday lunches in cumbria in 2025.
