- SMStephen Mansell1 day ago1.0Came to watch the England World Cup game vs Panama, couldn’t hear a thing over the trashy din coming from the other room. Overall bar staff are relatively slow and somehow managed to overcharge me over 2 drinks. Tables are sticky and one room absolutely reaks of sweat and BO Apart from when you’re overcharged, the drinks are relatively well priced.

They helped me figure out the power banks and I was able to charge my phone and relax with a drink before my partner got home. The two behind the bar were incredibly friendly and made a stressful evening much more pleasant. The atmosphere was great, there were some sports on in the background and I’ll definitely be back under less taxing circumstances.

The atmosphere in the pub is 10/10, perfect mix of students and old boys. Prices are the cheapest you’re going to get as a student. Live music on some Saturdays and quiz on Sundays. All in all, this place feels like a second home to me. Highly recommend, 5 stars.
