There was no visible communication that she was allergic with no record on the receipt of an allergen being processed. She was also told that because there wasn't any lettuce in the wrap she ordered it didn't matter. She is currently having a severe allergic reaction. I get that the risk can never be at 0 but from the severity of her reaction it is clear that a series of processes to eliminate cross contamination have failed to be adhered to. It's worrying that even since Natasha's Law, allergens are still not being taken seriously. I'd expect this kind of service from a small business not a multi billion pound food chain.
