  I strongly advise against buying baked goods like croissants and other loose items from this Tesco store. They do not provide tongs, which means people often use their hands—raising serious hygiene concerns. Instead of addressing this issue properly, the staff and manager suggested using the paper bags as makeshift tongs, which not only feels impractical but also leads to unnecessary paper waste, making it an environmentally unfriendly solution. To make things worse, when we were simply trying to understand the situation, the manager rudely told us not to touch the items with our hands and insisted we use paper bags. When we pointed out that her tone was rude, she doubled down and told us to leave the store instead of handling the matter professionally. This kind of customer service is unacceptable, and Tesco seriously needs to improve both its hygiene practices and staff training. Providing tongs should be a basic standard, and treating customers with respect should be non-negotiable.

  Okay so this is new years morning and we are students , who shop here quiet often but there was a lady working in the morning on 01/01/2024 who behaved in such a rude gesture towards my friend which is uncalled for , I mean what did you hire her for if she is rude to the customer ? She was stocking up items and all my friend did was passs by and she’s passing comments such as why did you not ask to move and with a rude facial gesture ! This is not customer service , this is a racial behaviour and this is not the first time we got that attitude from that person ! Anyways will not be shopping here , other staff are fine just that lady ! Not customer friendly .

  Awful service. Came in today around 7pm with my boyfriend, IC ONE female with black hair on the tills was incredibly rude. She said, “Make sure you pay for that bag”, to my partner in an extremely rude tone & was staring at us, clearly using the headset to talk to her colleagues. We spoke to her male colleague who was also near the tills, he was polite. She continued to stare & roll her eyes. We are students and shop here all the time. We’re extremely disappointed, as it was clearly racially motivated & will not be shopping here again.
