  The staff is really rude. It is handy to get some stuff from here as it is in the city centre. I just bought a pack of donuts here and then the self-service machine said that it couldn’t find the item I just scanned and I asked for the assistance. He came and just so rude and told me “do you want it or not?” and just murmuring. I was trying to figure out and asked him why it couldn’t detect the item initially was it because it passed the best before date? Because I just realised that today is 7 August and the item best before date is 6 August (as seen on the pic). And he just ignored me and kept saying “do you want it or not?” And he left, and I told him “No need to be so rude” and he just left. Really poor kind of customer service quality. I was wondering if the item couldn’t be found initially because of the best-before date has passed which I concerned whether it might be not recommended to be consumed, so I asked. But he was really unhelpful and not responsive, and I felt I didn’t have other options other than just tapping my card so I don’t have to deal with the staff coming to me again and cancel the item.

  Need to learn something basic manners while dealing with customers. If anyone's asking for help be kind and help the customer out. You can't directly say we're not here to help. Absolutely rubbish customer service. Never expected this from a Tesco employee.

  We 3 friends went to by monster drinks, one the employee demanded a valid age proof so one of our friends showed him furthermore he asked for age proof of rest of 2 friends but they didn't had, so didn't let us buy that. After 5 min we again went with valid id proof that is passport and this time just one of our friends was their but despite a valid id they straight forwardly refused by saying " i said no one time and thats it i can't let have it another time " we didn't eat anything for whole day because our busy schedule if could have supported us we atleast had something, totally disappointed by this customer care and disrespectful way of behavior. Employee was aged so didn't had an argument but Worst experience of tesco till today. Kindly please improve on this...

  Very poor customer service. I was initially refused a Monster energy drink because I had forgotten my ID, which I completely understood. I then returned with a valid photo ID, yet the assistant still refused the sale without giving any clear explanation. If Tesco expects customers to provide valid identification, staff should also be able to explain why a sale is refused after the required ID has been presented. This was unprofessional, inconsistent, and a complete waste of my time.
