This restaurant is poorly rated by me, the service, staff, and mood barely hit the lowest level I've ever seen in fast food restaurants.
The first "red flag" we saw was the security guard, who stood in front of the stairs. He wore a uniform that looked as if it was the uniform of a secret agency. He even had a gun, or a teaser, I couldn't see, whitch one.
We wanted to go upstairs, to see if there were any seats for us, and order. We were at the middle of the stairs, when he yelled after us, and asked if we are going to the toilet, or sitting down upstairs. We told him that we're just checking if there's any table free for us, and then order, but it was clear, that he didn't believe a single word. It was quite weird, since even if we want to "sneak into the toilet", it's not a such crime that he had to yell, and try to humiliate us. Then, a costumer came to us, and started repeating what the guard said aggressively with an accent so heavy that we barely understood some pieces of it. (Since English is a foreign language for all of us.) He probably just "tried to explain", what the security guard said, as if we were some dumb girls, who can't even speak English. Then the security guard (while keeping that "kind" style, he used before) slowly told us, that we have to order something, before we go upstairs.
We should've left, but we were hungry, and wanted food as fast as possible, so we went to the end of the queue, and waited. The guard asked, if we wanted to order. I almost congratulated him for this unbelievable conclusion. When we replied (again), that "Yes, we just want to order", he kindly and gently let us go upstairs, as there was another kiosk, that he forgot to mention, when we told him we want to order upstairs.
We went upstairs, and ordered. And saw the second "red flag": the tecnological problems. The kiosk didn't ask, if we wanted takeout or to sit down neither if we wanted table service. We didn't think much about that, but as we received our food, we got a takeaway bag. Just before that, our number of order had disappeared. Like literally gone from the screen. So we had to wait until someone shouted out our number.
The food was OK, but it's not really the restaurant's business. We ate our food, and went down the stairs. And we had the honour of seeing another of the security's great actions.
A young woman, and a boy likely under twelve tried to go upstairs, with their meal in the woman's hands. The guard stopped the boy, and told him, that he "Clearly doesn't have his food" and "He can't go upstairs." The woman gently, and maybe too patiently told him, that it's his food in her hand, and they are sharing a bigger meal. He looked at her dead in the eyes - I mean, I assume he did, I couldn't see his eyes because of his "super spy sunglasses"-, and literally said with a cruelly calm voice: "Do you think I'm that dumb?" That boy was literally twelve! He couldn't possibly eat alone, or watch as his sister or mother just eats in front of him!
And the thing is, he gives a bit of racist vibes. Because we and the young woman with the boy were all white, and I saw him letting up black people without a word. I'm not racist, and always hated racism, whether it's from white, or black, or from people of any race.
That's why I say, I wouldn't recommend this McDonalds to anyone, just look at the probably racist, mildly agressive security guard, or the devices with minimalist technology.
