I was served by the younger woman first, I asked for a vegan roll with my meal deal and was told “well if you look we don’t have them.” To which I replied with “oh I’m sorry I didn’t see, can I please have a normal sausage roll” the woman then replied with “so pork?” With a rather snarky tone and I said yes. So she ring up the sandwich and the drink I had picked up as part of the meal deal and I pay for. She then walks out into the back for 5 minutes as I’m stood waiting at the counter for the sausage roll. The older woman comes out and asks. “What do you want.” In a pissed off tone and I explain to her the situation that has just happened. She then responds with. “So just the sausage roll? Everything else is definitely payed for?” In an almost accusing tone and when I confirm that I have infact payed for the rest she rolls her eyes and slams the sausage roll down on the counter. I understand customer service is stressful as I myself work in customer service but there was no need for this behaviour from two different members of staff. It was outrageous and quite frankly upsetting.

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
