  Only went there for a beer while staying locally in motorhome. Outside area was very tired and a look around saw tile ridges missing from roof. Broken gate to waste area. Broken smoking wall mounted ash tray in smoking area. Whole garden area overgrown and needing tlc. Beer was good.

  Lovely breakfast buffet. Friendly team of people to serve you. Plenty of parking.

  Would not go again! Used to go on a regular basis but when my wife’s steak came out burnt we had to wait 15 minutes for another one and by then everyone else had finished their meals. The service is hit and miss and sometimes you’re waiting ages for the food to arrive. I mean it’s a Beefeater and you expect to be served with someone wearing a uniform but there’s one waitress there who just wears t shirt and jeans all the time. Also last year we were served by a waitress who actually started crying in front of us … she said she was having a bad day. I really don’t think the management gives a stuff. Don’t waste your time as we haven’t bothered to go again.

  Ordered the surf and turf burger. After waiting 30mins it arrived incinerated to an inch of its life. It was completely inedible. The staff were hugely apologetic they brought another plate this time the chips were cold and not cooked properly. not a good first impression. The restaurant was not that busy.

  Food was beautiful, didn't get any pics but had the butternut squash, spinach and ricotta lasagna with skin on fries, garlic breaded mushrooms and a mini choc brownie Sundae. Service was perfect, couldn't fault it in any way. This place is perfect for meeting for lunch, or a quick coffee. Plenty of free parking and right next door to a premier inn!! What more could you ask for?
