  Well that was some shocking service. We spent almost 200 pound between me and my daughter in law for our families.I ordered mine first and my drinks. The card wouldnt accept and it took a minute. Until a young lady cancelled the transaction to reatart it and then it worked. At which point the bar manager was huffing and made me feel very embarrassed. Unfortunately when my daughter in law went to order her food and drink she made the order and paid for it and the bar manager said. Go and sit down and wait for your drink until he had served a group of men! ( I beg your finest pardon!!) So shocked were wre we actualy sat down, then fumed and fumed some more. At which point the dreaded words came. Can we speak to the bar manager. A lovely young lady came over and placated us with a complimentary bottle of wine. We left happier but it did put a bit of a dampener on the celebration of my sons birthday 🎂 Go sit down lil lady there's mens drinking to be had round these parts !

  Fair price and always service with a smile. A reliable restaurant with good served in a timely fashion. Staff friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

  This morning I decided to take my daughter for a treat for the breakfast here. As usual the service and the food were excellent. However, I was disappointed to learn that the restaurant will be closing. What concerns me further is that no clear date of closure has been decided leaving the staff in a difficult situation. The staff here always work hard to provide excellent service and deserve at the bare minimum clear communication as many also have families to consider. I feel this will be a hit to the community that will definitely be felt especially in those who are more vulnerable. I hope that the restaurant will continue to be supported.

  Had a really nice experience here thanks to Donna. She was incredibly hardworking, attentive, and genuinely polite throughout. You can tell she really cares about making sure customers are looked after properly. It made a big difference to the whole visit – thank you, Donna!

  Waiter put a piping hot plate in front of my 23 month old Sunday carvery wasn’t on even though it was Sunday Picked 4 other items they didn’t have, wasn’t told what they did and didn’t have Food - calamari was tough and greasy Sweet and sour prawns was also tough Won’t be going again
