Got turned away when noone in store because she has 2 delivery orders. I used to work in subway and you cannot do that. I just wanted cookies.

We have visited the past few nights after a night out and the atmosphere has been unwelcoming and unenjoyable. If you are passing after a night out do not bother and go to a kebab shop instead as they don’t allow tipsy or drunk people. The ‘manager’ also attacked a customer by grabbing him, because he stood up for a man who walked in and was immediately refused a sandwich because he was ‘too drunk’. No harm could have been caused if the poor guy was given a sandwich and if anything that would have ‘sobered him up’. I hope police view the CCTV and there is new future management. I will not be returning. In addition not to be rude, the guy making the subway was lovely but I was worried his severe skin condition, would lead to flakes in my subway, I ended up not eating my subway as it made me feel unwell at the thought.

Very disappointing experience at the Newquay Subway on 9 June 2026. The staff member was rude and unprofessional from the moment we entered. The bread did not seem fresh, vegetarian and non-vegetarian ingredients were not being kept properly separate, and my vegan patty was served cold despite specifically requesting it to be properly toasted and heated. The amount of sauce added was also far less than requested, making the sandwich dry and unenjoyable.
This was one of the worst Subway experiences I've had. I hope management investigates these issues and takes action to improve customer service, food quality, and food handling standards at this branch.

I visited this store today, whilst on holiday in the area. My 9 year old daughter was hungry, so I agreed, as our local Subway is great, service and food is fine.
Well what a difference! The time taken to serve us, was at least 20 minutes, yes 20 minutes, the staff were more bothered about phone orders, and deliveries.
When I eventually got served, my daughter asked for a six inch sub on hearty Italian bread, the assistant gave her a 5 inch Sub, he put the chicken on and cheese melted it, got it out most of it wasn’t even on the bread, so I asked him to put it on the bread, rather than wrap it in the paper, reluctantly he did, she asked for a few extras like peppers, onions, and then mayo which were basically thrown on, it looked like a dogs dinner to be honest, but it’s my daughters favourite and she was really hungry, so I reluctantly paid the £5.29 in cash, I gave him £5.30 he struggled to work out the change I required. We had to catch a bus back so had to wait till we were on it before she could eat it, it was dreadful, so bad we had to throw it away. Would like feedback please, as to why it was such a bad experience and also a refund, as it was just not worth it. Just because we were tourists it doesn’t mean you can get away with poor quality product and service!!

Horrendous service! The greasy and spotty server (who did not come across as someone that should be near food) immediately announced when I arrived that they had no beef, meatballs, chicken, or veggie patties. It took 15 minutes to be served to only to be completely disappointed at the lack of variety that I would normally expect from a trusted establishment. I would hope that Newquay would be chosen as a flagship store, currently it is hopefully the most likely to be the one that should be prioritised for refurbishment or reprioritising the franchise staff
