  I am genuinely disappointed. I have lived in Liskeard for 20 years, and Co-op has always been one of my go-to stores. However, since last year there has been a recurring issue with out-of-date and mouldy products. The first time, I bought a chocolate mousse that had mould growing on the top. I assumed it was just a one-off mistake with the date checks. A few months later, I bought a Co-op New York cheesecake, only to find that it was also out of date. Unfortunately, it hasn’t stopped there. Most recently, I bought a banana bread cake that was mouldy, along with a peppered steak slice that was two days past its use-by date. One mistake can happen, but this has become a pattern. It feels like whoever is responsible for checking dates simply isn’t doing their job properly. It’s disappointing to see a store I’ve trusted for so many years in this state, and I hope this issue is taken seriously before someone becomes ill. I do not have any pictures of the banana bread cake / mousse’s / cheesecake.

  At the centre of the town. Large car park at rear. Usually quick service and pleasant staff. Prices reasonable and a large range of goods available.
