  I went for dinner here twice in 4 days and my experience was different both times. The first was at 6pm and it took around an hour to get our food and then another hour for desserts. I had a burger which was okay but the coleslaw was not good and my glass wasnt clean. The second time was at 5pm and it took about 20 minutes for food. This time I had the smothered chicken which was excellent. It started to get busy and there seemed to still be only 2 members of staff managing the bar, taking payments, taking orders, taking out food, cleaning tables so I did feel for them. Maybe it was the same in the kitchen? Which explains the long wait but I think an hour wait is too long. Which is why I only give it 3 stars.

  We've never been here before but we're very pleasantly surprised with the food on offer and the price! It's really well decorated and cool; a welcome change from the heat outside. Seems a popular eaterie. But what a shame 😞--- we heard about a probable closure, which would be a very great pity.

  We booked a table to be sure for 7pm. Myself and my partner both ordered fish and chips, with bread and butter. The bread wasn't that fresh, we asked for it to be changed, they did, the replacement was slightly better. When we ordered, we were told they had no Cod or Haddock, only Pollock. As we were leaving, we noticed the employees performance board telling the staff to offer Pollock only after 6pm?? Come on, just just be honest!
