We’ve visited twice over the span of two years, and both times they were out of basic staples. Coming back two years later to the exact same issue is disappointing, inventory management needs work.

Went for breakfast. Staff not very welcoming. It almost evolved into an argument at some times whilst trying to make simple requests/ask questions. Food is “ok” and I say that lightly. Again. Neither good nor bad, just ok. We seemed to just have the last drabs of what was left, hot counter was not replenished with fresh food or anything and we had to cut our visit short.

Went a few days ago and let me tell you the place was FILTHY. Staff members were nice though so that’s a positive, but that’s about it. Most of the plates were covered in weird stains, the glasses/cups had those weird streaky patterns that you get when you don’t properly clean them (same for the cutlery, which also had stains and even bits of food left on them!!!!). However, I’m glad to see that they decided to put there money into filling the thing with gacha machines and a sad, lonely claw machine instead of using it to actually improve the place!

Poor, poor, poor!!! We stayed next door at the holiday inn for 3 nights and were sent into here for breakfast. 3 out of 5 plates dirty! Cutlery dirty glasses and cups smeared with watermarks and grease. We had been here in previous years for an evening meal with the same sort of service and cleanliness, wanted to give it a second chance thinking they may have had a shake up in the following years but unfortunately exactly as was. It is such a shame as it is in a prime location sited just on the edge of the A30 and has thousands of vehicles passing through within a 24hour period.

I thought my review might be useful as I also ate at Table Table up the road, which is a different brand owned by the same company. Firstly, the staff here came across as lovely nice people, they were friendly and generally helpful, these places don't pay great so I can't blame them. The restaurant itself just felt a dark, dingy and tired. It could do with being shut for a week, steam cleaned from head to toe, given a fresh lick of paint throughout and brightened up. The toilets in particular were disgusting. Once the establishment feels like a nice place to work for the staff the general atmosphere may improve become a nicer experience for customers.
