Arrived in the late afternoon at the start of our holiday, looking for a cheap, local spot within walking distance to grab a bite. We were a bit cautious after reading some of the online reviews, but decided to give it a try anyway and were pleasantly surprised. We managed to grab the last table for three on a Tuesday evening. Our server was very friendly, and the food was right on par with what you’d expect from a Beefeater—perfectly adequate for the price, even if not amazing. Decent option if you're nearby!

This is the only Beefeater I’ve ever been to that has properly let me down.
From the moment we walked in, the greeting felt half-hearted and the staff seemed completely uninterested.
I expected it to be busy, but the place was surprisingly quiet. Even so, the whole process of ordering felt like we were getting in the way.
When the food eventually arrived it wasn’t terrible and that’s the only reason this isn’t lower than three stars. The steak was tiny but cooked well. The chicken on the mixed grill, however, was dry and shrivelled.
The real problem was the service and the charging. The menu advertised refillable soft drinks, yet every time I asked for a refill I was charged again. That felt like a clear overcharge and left a bad taste.
I’ve always liked Beefeater and usually look forward to going, but with rude, disinterested staff and this kind of billing I won’t be rushing back.
Absolutely dreadful I’m not one to write bad reviews, but I feel like I had to. Do not come here. It is a waste of time. The food was dryer than The Sahara desert my son’s pizza came out looking like a burnt flip-flop. The Surf and turf burger was completely dry wings were chewy It really is a shame because it’s in a nice location. Just a shame about the food not only that the staff just give you Constant dirty looks. The most appetising thing was the tomatoes apart from that worst food I’ve ever had.. The staff the food really needs an upgrade…
Apart from the blonde lady she was lovely

We thought we would go to beefeater breakfast as our friends had said how good it was.We arrived at 10.20 with the staff member saying it finished at 10.30 when things would pack away.o.k.we had time. The member of staff was a bit grumpy .We went to the restaurant. No bacon,no tomatoes.Asked staff' we will bring some ,..We had what was there. We then went for some toast or bakery items. No bread, croissants empty.asked for bread.we did get some.sat down.no bacon no tomatoes. Wished we had decided to go somewhere else.Cold by the time we ate.Not enough staff on to replenish stock or service tables.Left after having coffee. My hubby went to the loo on way out.Met him at the car.He was disgusted with the state of the loos ,pee on the floor ,no toilet roll and they stank.!!!! I don't necessarily blame the staff as there were not enough to give good service . I feel they were let down by management.
We paid £23 for poor service and food.would not recommend.

The staff is lovely and welcoming towards people with special needs, it's a safe place for autistic people. Easily accessible, lovely atmosphere.
