The buffet was absolutely excellent, beautifully prepared and enjoyed by everyone in our party. The service was equally outstanding – friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, and the atmosphere helped make the celebration truly memorable. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend The Pickering Arms to anyone looking for great food and exceptional hospitality. 🍾🍻

The fish was overcooked and you could have knocked a nail in with it , elderly guest struggled to eat but no check back by the floor staff so ended up digging out the fish and making do. Fed back comments to manager when she cleared our plates and was given the the usual ‘ will let chef know’ stock response. No apology and billed on full. Well chef , just in case you didn’t get the feedback , you can’t cook a basic fish so ease up next time so at least you can get a knife through it. Disappointed to say the least.

In our group of 4, we all had very different options from the menu, which were all great. They even gave us an extra scoop of ice cream for our shared desserts. Would recommend!
