  The Oddfellows Arms is one of those proper local pubs that reminds you why independent pubs matter so much. It may not do food, but what it does offer is something just as valuable, genuine atmosphere, lovely people and a place where you can simply relax and feel part of the area. Since moving here a few months ago, every visit has brought friendly conversations with locals who are always happy to chat, recommend places to visit and share stories about the community. There’s something really comforting about that, especially when you’re settling into a new area. Sometimes you do not need loud music or big events, sometimes you just need a welcoming local pub where you can sit quietly with a drink, unwind from the day and enjoy good company if you fancy a conversation. Places like The Oddfellows Arms are an important part of local life and deserve support. A real hidden gem with a lovely local crowd and a warm, relaxed atmosphere every time I’ve visited. 🍺😊

  Bumped into Ali and had a lovely chat. Told her how the pub is always lovely and clean and she always has a smile on her face whenever she’s around.

  Great pub with a fantastic atmosphere, but what really stands out is how clean it is. Alison, the cleaner, does an amazing job—everything is spotless and well looked after. It makes a big difference to the overall experience. Highly recommend!

  The Oddfellows in Davenham is the most amazing local pub! My recently deceased father 93, Barney Senior, drank there most nights since 1971. He has a plaque on his usual seat as a testimony to his long faithful customer attendance. All the staff over those long years have been amazing! Donna and Claire as land ladies particularly. Always looked after him. Alison McDonald, our lovely family friend, who has worked at the Oddiies in many roles over the years has also been amazing. The three of you made my beloved dad’s visits to the Oddies so special.We miss miss him! Thank you. Kate xx 💞🌹
